This commemorative tear bottle was designed & created to honor the brave American men and women who fought to ensure our freedoms; Americans lost in the tragic events of September 11, 2001 and for those grieving over the loss of lives in the war on terror. Our limited edition red, white,& blue tear bottle is hand-blown by glass artist, Barbara Dillon. Dillon is a respected Montana-based glass artist and has had showings of her work throughout the U.S. and in Japan. In 1997, her work was selected to adorn a Christmas tree in the Blue Room of the White House.Each commemorative bottle features a white mother-of-pearl cabochon atop its 24-carat gold painted cap. The bottles are approximately 2" tall and come inside an elegant organza bag with a miniature story card, a custom printed card which reads, "as you comprehend this profound loss...let yourself cry knowing each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens" , as well as a numbered Limited Edition card. Each commemorative bottle is signed by the artist and considered a piece of fine art.
